To block tracking of mobile devices across WiFi networks, latest versions of phone and laptop operating systems have started a new feature called "MAC randomization". Looks like Android 10 uses this feature by default.
This feature may create some false alarms as you may see a new device alert in your Roqos app. You will notice that this device eventually becomes offline, after it connects to your WiFi network. Watch for this alert when you get a new phone or laptop connecting to your Roqos Core's WiFi for the first time.
It may sound like an annoying feature, but we think it is a good cybersecurity implementation that protects our privacy in public networks.
