- To activate your Roqos Core, first login to your Roqos SASE account at sase.roqos.com. You will see the activation page below when you access your account for the first time, or when you choose Network > Add New Roqos Core.
- Select the Roqos Core model you wish to activate. Click on the Next button.
- Connect an Ethernet cable to 'Internet' port on your Roqos Core and the other to your upstream modem or router. Click on the Next button.
- Connect power to the Roqos Core and wait for the status light to start blinking blue. Click on the Next button.
- Enter the serial number of your Roqos Core which is at the back or under your Roqos Core. (e.g. RC1000011A) Click on the Next button.
- Hold on until the activation is finished.
- Provide a name for Roqos Core to help you identify it. Click on the Next button.
- Select the time zone for your network. Click on the Next button
- Enabling Wi-Fi is optional. If you want so, click on the Enable Wi-Fi button. To proceed to the next step, click on the Skip button.
- For enabling Wi-Fi enter the name and password for your Wi-Fi network. Click on the Next button.
- To enable the Block New Devices feature, which prevents any device to join your network without your permission, click on the Enable 'Block New Devices' button. To proceed to the next step, click on the Skip button.
- Upon successful completion you will see the page above. Click on the OK button in the popup and click on the Next button.
- If no Hub has been set up, the above page will be displayed. To configure this Roqos Core as the Hub click on the 'Yes, configure this Roqos Core as the hub' button. To proceed to the next step, click on the Skip button.
- Upon successful completion, you will see two pages above displayed one after the other. Click on the Next button.
- The activation has finished and Roqos Core is now ready to use.
- Next, please review your devices, add users/groups, and then create policies for them to access your systems and the internet. To allow all of your devices to access everywhere at all times, please create a simple rule which uses Always, Everything and Everywhere in corresponding pull down menus.
